Version 1 of my career involved 35 years in consumer & shopper behaviour research: Deputy MD of Research International Consumer Division; Board Director of Incite; and 14 years running my own business, Shoppercentric Ltd
Shopper research in particular is about problem solving, and running a business is a series of problems to be solved. So that skill is at the heart of what I offer to my mentees
I have experienced the highs and lows of small business ownership, and in the hardest times it was someone else acting as a mentor who would help me see the steps in the right direction, and give me the confidence boost to take the necessary action
